abstract
Medicinal value of plants belonging to family Apocynaceae and Asteraceae is taken into consideration. Active components like Ouabain, Lupeol acetate, Pluieride isolated from plants of these families have shown biological activities such as cardiac, antifertility and anticancer activities.
