abstract
Cannabis sativa L. is recorded as a dominant weed species of different kharif crops from the state of Punjab, India during the year 2024. Floral parts such as tepals, stamens, stigma and ovary were examined for taxonomic identification and investigation of reproductive structure of the plant. Plant species has shown approximately 100% pollen viability. Ten insects were documented during the investigations which were visited on plant for pollination, shelter, food etc.
