Sunil Kumar Sen and Lalit Mohan Behera
From the early days of the civilization, man's journey has been tied with the environment. Plants contribute to human and animal lives by gifting food, shelter, clothes, and more importantly, medicine for their healthcare. An ethnomedicinal field trip was conducted among the tribals in various forest pockets of Bargarh district. The present paper focused on documentation of ethnomedicinal uses of Centella asiatica, locally called ‘Thalkudi’, a flowering herb with multifarious uses in Bargarh district of Odisha.
