In developing nations, herbal medicinal plants are used as alternative source of many disease treatments because less side effect of herbal medicine. In the present investigation of ethnomedicinal survey of Apocynaceae plant family was conducted in the Nanded region. Study was conducted in local forest region of Nanded district. Members of Apocynaceae family is very common in Marathwada region, mostly plants are wild, few members are cultivated. Most of the plants of apocynaceae are used as ornamental for their beautiful flower. The Local Forest people use the many plants of apocynaceae family for the treatment of various disease. For the ethnomedicinal survey we selected the six members of Apocynaceae family such as Alstonia scholaris (L) R.Br-Saatvin, Nerium oleander L Silva Manso-Kaner, Catharanthus roseus (L) G. Don-Sadaphuli, Plumeria alba L-Pandhara chapha and Cascabela thevetia (L) Lippold-Pivali Kaner.Ethnobotanical survey was conducted for the investigation of medicinal plants uses in treatment of various viral diseases, bacterial diseases and other diseases. This survey conducted by online literature, direct visited to different local people, herbal medicine seller, vaidus, tribal Folkman etc.
