Patil Deoyani and Ahire Dilip
The Samples Sillaginella rependawere collected from the Jalgaon area of Gautala Wildlife Sanctuary. Theantibacterial effectiveness against both Gram-positive and Gram-negativebacteria is investigated in this study. Thematerials were dried and then powdered into a fine powder and make varioussolvent extracts. Six different species of bacteria is used in this study toexplore the effectiveness of extract on inhibition of growth. The experimentmethod adopted for this inquiry was the agar well Diffusion Assay method. The statistical analysis, including two-way ANOVA and post-hoc Tukey’sHSD test, revealed no significant differences in antibacterial activity amongmethanol, ethanol, and aqueous extracts, as well as the antibiotic Cefotaxime. The pairwise comparison and box plot further confirmed that no single extractconsistently outperformed the others.
